Star Energy - With the world’s fourth largest population and a rapidly developing economy, it is essential that new sources of energy are discovered and existing resources are optimized, both to power Indonesia’s development and to generate vital export income. Historically this has mostly been the task of large multinational oil and gas companies working in partnership with Indonesia’s state owned energy company, and their success in tapping into the nation’s rich natural resources has been spectacular. Nothing stays the same forever however, and with the dawn of the new millennium and the inexorable growth of the biggest energy companies through merger and acquisition, new opportunities emerged for those with the vision to recognize them. One who could, was industry veteran Supramu Santosa. In 2003 he partnered with Nusantara Capital, an Indonesian investment banker and set out to build a better energy company. With a senior management team which had more than 100 years of direct operating experience working for major oil and gas companies in the Indonesian energy sector between them, Star knew the sort of company it wanted to create. It would combine the best practices and features of the majors, without the huge overheads and long lines of communication that are inevitable with large, foreign based multinational organizations. It would be agile, flexible and responsive, able to react quickly to changing situations and to take advantage of opportunities. Drilling Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Designs drilling programs in accordance with the industry recognizes technical criteria and applicable drilling regulations in order to achieve exploration objectives in a safe and cost effective manner.
- Works with multidisciplinary professionals to evaluate the commercial viability of the well and monitor progress during drilling.
- Prepares regular well report.
- Ensures all routine drilling and cost control reports are accurate, complete and timely.
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree majoring in Engineering (Petroleum or Mechanical), or other related technical educations.
- At least 8 year(s) of working experience in drilling & work over, develop drilling program and supervise in the well site. Preferable having working experience in OFFSHORE.

Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree / Post Graduate Degree in Accountancy.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience as Auditor in the Accounting Firm. Have working experience in Oil and Gas Industry is an advantage.
