Responsibilities:

- Ensure the full coverage of the market, existing and potential customers, maintain the contacts with all relevant customers, dealers
- Responsible for the effective implementation of action plan in line with business strategy in designated area and product range
- Actively implement and support promotional activities; product campaigns, seminar, customer focus groups, in house training, etc.
- Displays or demonstrates product using samples, demo units, brochure or catalog.
- Keep customers informed on new products or services, pricing and change
- Regularly monitor and review sales achievement in one own area.
- Coordinate with internal sales representative/customer care center officer, provide updated information about the customers, dealers, etc. in order to keep account actice and/or literature up to date.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for marketing the organization’s products and services.
- Develop overall marketing strategy and competitive growth strategies for multiple lines of products with coordination and cooperation with Business Segment Team and /or Product Management Team.
- Directs, controls and coordinates the monitoring and analysis of the market trends in order to develop strategies to maintain and improve the company market share.
- Implements plans, strategies and policies to achieve the efficient, effective and profitable marketing of the companys's product range.
- Ensure that the overall sales operative plan figures are achieved according to the plan, including revenue, margin, growth and return on sales (RoS).
- Create annual budget in conjuction with Product Management Team and Business Segment Team in line with overall Strategic Plan as well as Business Segment Strategy.

- Participate in international activities of Merck if required including international committees, advisory forums, seminars and other activities.
- Cover other assignments and opportunities which are advantageous for the chemical division, by optimizing the function of sales force in the respective area.
- Candidate must possess at least a Master's Degree / Post Graduate Degree, Engineering (Chemicals), Chemistry, Pharmacy/Pharmacology or equivalent.
- At least 10 year(s) of working experience in Marketing Manager/Product Manager/Business Development Manager or equivalent preferably in Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals field.
- Having Leadership, Negotiation and Presentation Skill
- Possess Driving License A (Car)
- Fluent in English and also familiar with Ms Office (excel. word, PowerPoint)
