
Badan Standardisasi Nasional (BSN) or The National Standardization Agency of Indonesia is a non ministrial government agency in Indonesia with the main responsibility to develop and promote national standardization in Indonesia. The Agency was formed in 1997 under the Presidential Decree No 13 of 1997 and enhanced by the Presidential Decree No 166 of 2000. BSN was formed to replace the function of Dewan Standardisasi Nasional (DSN or the National Standardization Council. Badan Standardisasi Nasional is based in Jakarta and addressed in Manggala Wanabakti Blok 4 4th Floor - Jl Jendral Gatot Subroto Jakarta 10270. In performing its tasks, BSN supported by the National Accreditation Committee (Komite Akreditasi Nasional - KAN) and the National Standard Committee for Unit Measurement (Komite Standar Nasional untuk Satuan Ukuran - KSNSU).
